The Prince of Wales may have just found his calling in life.
In an amusing turn of events, Prince Charles visited the BBC Scotland headquarters this week and decided to deliver the local weather forecast ... live!
In town to mark the channel's 60-year anniversary, Charles was surprised when BBC anchor Sally Magnusson tasked him with the weather report ...
Against a backdrop of the BBC weather map, Charles delivered a special script which included random references to his royal residences in Scotland.
Looking directly into the camera, he said: "The best of the bright and dry weather will of course be in the northern isles and the far north of the mainland. So, a little bit of hazy sunshine for the Castle of Mey in Caithness ... who wrote this script?!"
"But a cold day everywhere with temperatures of just 8C and a brisk northerly wind," added Prince William's dad. "Thank God it isn't a bank holiday."
NOTE: Astonishingly, it's cold, wet and windy in Scotland.
